Rivals and Scout have us ranked lower b/c we have less Total
commitments, thus we accumulate less "points" in their ranking systems.
Teams with more quantity and less quality get ranked ahead of us.
None of which was my point. Did I say anywhere that I didn't like our
class? No, I was just pointing out that we have more open scholarships
with a week to go than we have maybe ever had.
And we need to FILL THEM with good players. We've had depth problems
for years b/c we don't use our 85, and last year we played with 75,
which is still a horrible thing to consider with an 11th year coach.
L&H said it well below. We're getting good players, but I think fans
will have a right to be "ticked" if we go into yet another season
under strength, while Saban, Miles, and Spurrier will again be cutting
players to get DOWN to 85 in the spring.
