Subject: What does our Athletic Dept. not understand here?

This is not complicated. Get rid of the Louisville series (here in
2011, there in 2012). In fact, why was that game signed to begin
with? ESPN is one of the few entities still able to "print money"
so paying off UL shouldn't be hard. Then sign up for the Dome in
2011 vs. USC (or perhaps Miami as that was rumored earlier) and fill
the 2012 slot with a lower tier home game.

The result would be:

We play a national TV game in the Dome in 2011 and have one less
home game. With all the ESPN $$$$$ out there now, this is no big
deal for the AA like it once would have been. The local merchants
get it made up the next year.

In 2012, we replace a trip to Louisville with a home game - to make
up from the previous year. Bama comes back on the schedule that
year so we don't need to worry about having added a lesser
opponent. And we still have a trip to Ky. since it's an even
numbered year.
