A columnist for the London Daily Mail opines that 2012 stands as
potentially a year similar to 1932. IMO, it also underscores what
is at stake in our elections this year, and why GOP primary voters
are going over our field of candidates with such a fine tooth comb.
For instance, does the British writer look down on Newt the same way
many in the British establishment looked down on Churchill through
the 1930s and in spring, 1940?
